How to Submit a Takedown Notice

Email your notice to: infosweetsongs@gmail.com

Your notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  2. Exact URL(s) on SweetSongs.com.ng where the material appears.
  3. Your contact information (full name, company if applicable, address, phone, and email).
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your electronic or physical signature (type your full legal name if sending by email).

Processing

Upon receiving a complete and valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and notify the uploader if applicable. We may request additional information to verify your claim.

Counter-Notification

If you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification that includes:

  1. Your name, address, phone number, and email.
  2. Identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos, Nigeria, and that you will accept service from the complaining party.
  5. Your electronic or physical signature.
